Education
Completing PhD this year in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. I have a MA in political science from UPenn and another MA in International Relations from the Department of Political Science at Columbia University. I was a double major in philosophy (top honors) and government at the University of Virginia. My background is multidisciplinary and my teaching methods designed to invigorate the teaching environment in ways which are suited to the classroom and individual students. My GPA's have always been in the A range although GPA's stop being used as a proper measure of accomplishments later on in PhD programs where winning scholarships/grants and doing conference papers are more important.
Experience
I have taught and tutored students on a regular basis since starting my PhD in 2002. I have also worked as a university-level counselor for undergraduate and graduate students in need of helping to plan out and brainstorm their academic careers in active and analytically useful settings.
